Rates

Below, you'll find my rates for lessons in my studio and lessons where I travel to your home.

Studio

Lessons at my studio are $25 for a 30 minute lesson or $37 for a 45 minute lesson.

Travel

Lessons in your home are $30 for a 30 minute lesson or $42 for a 45 minute lesson.

Payment

The monthly lesson fees should be paid fully. The payments are due on the first lesson day of the week of the month. This will be paid to the instructor directly or mailed to Jesse Cunningham - make the check payable to Jesse Cunningham. Checks and cash are strongly recommended but Apple Pay (786-879-9951) and Venmo (@jessepianist) are also available. Each payment with debit or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover) and PayPal (jessepianist@gmail.com) will be additionally charged a 4.0% processing fee. All payments are non-refundable. There is a $10 late charge after the due date on all accounts past due. There will be a $50 fee for any bounced checks in addition to the $10 late fee. Lessons will be suspended until accounts are paid in full, including all missed lesson charges, with no refunds or credits issued.

Attendance and Cancelations

Attendance is required each week of the semester. It is important for maintaining progress. If the student is sick and unable to attend his/her lesson, please contact the instructor, Ms. Jesse Cunningham, before 8:00 A.M. the day of the student’s lesson. Excused absences are defined as concerts or sports events and one week’s prior notification is required. The student’s parent should call or e-mail the instructor. A make-up lesson may be arranged on a case-by-case basis and subject to instructor availability for excused absences only within a month of the absence. Improper notification will automatically forfeit make-up consideration. Unexcused absences (personal days away from the studio) will not be made up. All absences will be considered unexcused if the instructor isn’t notified via phone, text or email prior to 8:00 A.M. on lesson day. If the instructor is ill or unable to give a lesson, she will arrange a make-up time as near to the original date as possible.

Recital

The piano instructor will provide the opportunity for two recitals per year. All students are encouraged to participate in the recital. Prior to the recital, it may be beneficial for students to schedule additional studio performance classes. These classes are not included in the normal fees.
