Hi, I'm Jesse!

I am currently accepting beginning, intermediate and advanced students age 4 and above who want to learn how to play piano enjoyably and skillfully. It is an inspiration to encourage students to express their own feelings using proper technique and to perform confidently in public.

My life-long love for piano began when I was 5 years old. I started taking lessons from a master instructor in Seoul, Korea. Pursuing my passion, I earned both a Bachelor's of Music and a Master's of Music in piano performance from Florida International University. After that, I worked as a staff pianist at the University of Notre Dame. Currently, I earned a Doctor of Musical Arts at UIUC and would love to continue teaching in Champaign-Urbana, Savoy and Rantoul area.
